Online news:

The investigation report on the People's Alliance for Democracy's (PAD) blockade of Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports in 2008 has been submitted to police chief Wichean Potephosree.

Pol Gen Wichean said the report is now being reviewed by his staff at the Royal Thai Police Office. He expected they would agree with the investigation team.

The investigators led by Pol Lt-Gen Somyos Phumphanmuang, an assistant national police chief, recommended in the report that all of the 114 suspects be indicted.

However, recommended charges against individual suspects varied, depending on their alleged offences. The severest charge, against PAD leaders, was terrorism.

A large number of protesters led by the PAD blockaded Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports in late 2008 demanding the resignation of then prime minister Somchai Wongsawat.
